There are times when I experience a "flow state," and I have come to realize that my diet plays a role in this state. This realization happened to me recently. I have noticed that when I consume foods that contain sugar, whether it's refined carbs or fruit, it affects my mental state and places me in this flow state. In this state, I find it challenging to do things, but it serves as a reminder that life is not just about taking action and being productive. Sometimes we need to be in this flow state to ground ourselves. However, I have come to understand that my diet is one of the factors that cause this state.
I have discovered that consuming beef helps me maintain mental clarity and focus. Therefore, when I experience a flow state after eating something with sugar, I eat beef as a practical response. It helps me regain my mental clarity and focus. I am grateful that I have recognized this about myself, and I credit a YouTube video I watched about relationships for giving me this epiphany.
