I am grateful to have friends that are authentic to me and remind me of things I have been neglecting. Life presents us with opportunities, and when we keep being reminded of things we need to address, it's a sign that we need to take action. I recognize that I must not only continue to notice things about myself, but also take practical steps to address them. I appreciate being reminded of this.
Sometimes, I find myself in a state of apathy or depression, which can prevent me from taking action. However, even when I am not depressed, I may get caught up in the flow of the moment and neglect important tasks. For example, paying bills or taking care of things that require my attention or promptness. I need to change this behavior and focus on implementing myself towards certain endeavors or projects that I have been putting off, such as finding a higher-paying job or organizing the systems around me.
Taking ownership of my life requires more than just understanding my thoughts and feelings. It also involves taking action in the physical world. When I handle the aspects of my life that require attention, it shows that I am taking ownership and responsibility for my life. I am grateful for being reminded of this lesson, and I intend to apply it to my life moving forward.
